  • Tenderloins, Top loins, T-bone, and Porterhouse steaks do not need any type of marinating. But if you want to marinate then do it for 30 minutes from salt and then cook immediately.
  • Ribeye, Tri-tip, and Sirloin steaks need a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 4 hours of marinating.
  • Chuck, Shoulder, Top Round, Bottom Round, Skirt, Hanger, and Flank Steak can be marinating maximum for 24 hours. But if you are eager to bake it on the same day then marinate it for at least 4 hours.

Utensils

Use non-reactive glass, stainless steel utensils, or food-safe plastic to marinate the meat.

Cold-Storage

Marinate your meat in the refrigerator to avoid the growth of bacteria in the meat.

Citrus juice marinades

This flavor should be the marinade for less than 2-3 hours as it may change the color of meat.

Overnight marinating

The marinade that does not contain salt, alcohol, or acid can be marinade overnight and even more.
