Substitute for Light brown sugar
To prepare it at home, there is a need for 1 cup of white sugar and 1 tablespoon Molasses which should be mix with 1/2 cup of liquid brown sugar or 1 cup of raw sugar or 1 Cup Granulated Sugar, or 3/4 Cup Dark Brown Sugar +plus 1/4 Cup White Sugar.
Substitute for dark brown sugar
Mix 1 Cup Granulated Sugar with 1/4 Cup of Molasses to form the dark brown sugar.
Substitute for Muscovado Sugar
Prepare the mixture of 1 Cup Dark Brown Sugar and 1 Tablespoon Molasses.
Turbinado Sugar substitute
Mix equal amounts of light brown sugar and raw sugar or demerara.

It is important to take the proper measurement of the ingredients to maintain the taste of brown sugar. The substitute can be a little bit different in texture, weight, nutritional properties, and so on depending on the number of ingredients you have mixed. Maintain the amount of molasses according to your taste buds.
